Lung function in mechanical ventilation - practical things can be critical!

This summer, we have published our new 24th issue of Clinical Window. Here we highlight CW Scientific Symposiums we have organized as part of the scientific program of the ISICEM congress in Brussels.

  • We publish article and presentation slides of B. Almgren, PhD (Stockholm) who gave her Clinical Window presentation in Brussels last spring.
  • Another paper comes from O. Stenqvist, MD (Gothenburg) - inventor of Spriodynamics™, who has also been our Clinical Window speaker. He writes about the important topic of regional lung mechanics.
  • Additionally, we make available "Spirodynamics Quickguide" as pdf-format educational material produced by GE Healthcare. With this publication, Clinical Window wants to address Prof. Stenqvist's important contribution in preparation of that educational material.

Now you can order printed educational material, if you wish
If you like to get a printed copy of "Spirodynamics Quickguide" we can send it to you. Then, we can also include "Spirodynamics appliguide" comprising reprints of scientific journal articles (that copyrighted contents we can only circulate as paper reprints).

First ensure that you have joined our mailing list (see menu on the left, update your information as necessary). Order link is in the article entry page.

Some new practicalities
In the current issue, I have made a minor technical change, which I hope will facilitate moving from article to article. List of recent articles has been moved to the right. As before, previous publications can be found from the menu on the left.

Be seeing you in Lisbon
At Clinical Window, we want to be accessible to our audience. I would like to invite you give me feedback on any aspect you wish. You are also most welcome to suggest articles or topics for publication, or submit your text for assessment by our advisory board.

The next Clinical Window symposium will take place at the annual congress of the European Society of Intensive Care (ESICM) in Lisbon, Portugal. We look forward to meeting our readers there.
