Early Health and Neonatal Care

Internet community for professionals in neonatal medicine, learn about "www.99nicu.org"

nicu99.org

"Internet is at its best when it comes to making people meet and talk"

  • Colleagues and I thought that neonatal staff should have their own web community.
  • In May 2006, we officially opened our "99nicu"* service in the Internet.
  • Today, there are more than 2000 international members.

What are the features of this neonatal medicine web site?

  • The main features of "99nicu" are the Discussion forums, the Image library, the Message board, and the Scientific library with a collection of neonatal abstracts.
  • There’s also a virtual NICU, where members can “admit” unresolved cases and get help from other members.
  • Membership is needed for full access to all features. Registration is free.

    * Why is the name "99nicu". It means that that our community is almost (but not entirely) devoted to neonatal medicine (i.e. 99%). But, only members have access to the Lounge :)
